SUMMER TRAINING / CADET TRAINING CENTRES
For many cadets, participating in summer training is the highlight of their year. The many diverse training opportunities offered during the summer months, including the Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Courses, the Technology and Digital Learning Centre (TDLC), and the National Cadet Advisory Council (NCAC) are the perfect occasion to make friends for life during experiences youth will never forget. The 23 Cadet Summer Training Centres across Canada offer a variety of exciting and dynamic training courses. Some are located in unique settings such as the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, north of 60° in Whitehorse, Yukon and the Pacific coast in Comox, British Columbia. Courses available for application are primarily based on the cadets completed training level, by the end of the training year.
Regardless of where a cadet goes for summer training, they are certain to have a fun and rewarding summer. The following items are the pre-requisites common to all training courses:
