RETURN TO TRAINING - Update from the National Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group about the upcoming training year:

- The safety and security of all who participate in the cadet programme is the Number 1 priority, and is at the heart of every decision made.
- Everything is being done to protect cadets and staff and prevent the Cadet programme being a vector in the transmission of COVID-19.
- Training delivery within a COVID environment will continue, however will rely on virtual to augment limited face-to-face activities
- In-person cadet activities will not start until at least 1 October 2020.
- There will be no in-person fundraising (ie Tagging) until further notice.
- If any cadets, staff, volunteers test positive for COVID-19, the CO must be notified.
- Non-medical masks will be provided by the CAF to all cadets and staff, however, personal NMMs can be worn.
- 2m physical distancing and other public health measures must be observed.
- There will be no international cadet training or events before 1 Sept 2021
- There will be no overnight travel until further notice; all field exercises will take place in Corps’ local areas no more than 1 hour’s drive away.
